If you've got one sock you can't wear, you don't need the wife; You can entertain yourself...

All in good fun but please be careful mixing painkillers and alcohol...seriously. Have a great weekend!

Just like Helium for Argon, I mix my painkillers and beer with careful precision, and get better results from the same energy...

This stuff clears the system in 48-72. I know my limits and my schedule.

It's a prescription, but it's one hell of a headache (no pun) to explain it, so I avoid having to.

Frankly, I don't like narcotics at all while working, for several reasons. So it's a Friday night thing, and gives me my best sleep of the week. I know, that's boring, but I don't get the fun out of it like I did when I was 17.

Agreed...it's funny how stuff changes when you get older.

Well went back to work last night and put in 10.5 hours, wasn't to bad but since my safety shoes kinda have a natural bend in them I felt every step. I was not in pain but with the big wad of gauze making my toe look like a tootsie pop, its tight in the toes. I could feel my other leg being tired more as I compensate by not really putting full weight on my other foot.

Well its been almost 3 weeks, toe is healing as good as it can be expected. Starting to see some dry or dead skin that will come off, doc said my toe will never look he same so that food model thing is still off...lol

Said I smashed and exploded it pretty good so with the scar tissue etc it will always be larger, he thinks the nail still might come off. Bone is healing great which was my largest concern.

Here's a current picture.

Glad your ok. Toes, fingers and broken noses are the worst. I broke my arm once and the cast drove me nuts plus the pool was just the right temp for swimming so I cut the damn thing off and went swimming and I figured as long as I have the cast off I might as well work, so I went back to work. Boss was a little leary but he was a bitch anyway so....glad your back to work!

Nails do funny things when you assult them with heavy objects.
It may well abandon ship feeling unloved.
Its replacement being part of the nail union may come back and go wonky or ingrown just to get you back.
Face it you never gave that nail much thought until you squashed it did you :D
