What kind of electrode i shall use for welding SS304 to SS310?
I used E310 to join 310 with 304 but it induces crack instantly.
Please guide me through.
The thickness of the plate is around 6mm.

310 ss has maximum 0.25% carbon and is listed as a weldable ss. As a rule joining dissimilar stainless steels the filler should be equal to or higher in number to the highest grade being joined. If 310 has not worked for you try 316 or 312 although I suspect 309 will also work for you in this case.

310 is a fully austenitic rod with no residual ferrite content, which makes it very prone to hot-cracking without very strict heat controls. 347 is the same way.

309, 312, and 316 are your better choices. Another option is NiCrMo-3, but I'd start with 312 to keep the properties similar. If it's non-critical, 309 is always a good choice.
