I have a Lincoln tig welder 175 and recently purchased a tomohawk plasma cutter. i already have the tig on a cart i made. the plasma cutter says "no stacking" not sure what they are referring too. The plasma cutter refers to magnetic fields etc. Is there, would there be a problem with the plasma cutter being mounted on the same cart above the tig? Obviously i wouldnt be able to use both at the same time.

Stacking may have as much to do with heat as with magnetic interference. If the two will never be "on" at the same time, I cant really see a problem, as long as there is enough separation for both to "breath" properly.

It might mean don't stack heavy objects or another plasma cutter on top. The weight of the objects stacked on top might press down on the plasma cutters electronics and damage them. Just a guess, though. Could be a ventilation thing, too.
