just wanted to say thanks to everyone for helping me out before when I asked about cutting aluminium rhs. I got a mitre saw and put an aluminium blade of it. it works great :) this was one of the jobs I have done recently, hoping to do a few more of these cages soon. see if these photos work

Looks like nice work. In the top photo it looks like the end closest to the camera hinges upwards- what prevents the animal from pushing against the door to open it?

it has this style of latch installed (not pictured though)

They're for transporting hunting dogs, seems to be a fairly big market for it here in Aus.
