I am looking for the best way to repair pot metal, can you tig weld it or should a person just look at brazing it.

Welcome.
I saw an episode of"powerblock tv" featuring a shop that repaired pot-metal parts for chroming. They used primarily TIG.
I'll try to look it up tomorrow.
