Here is a comparison between 6013, 7016, and 8016 cot and etched.
Don't laugh at the 8016 run, I had a sneezing fit half way along lol :roll:

The 6013 is far left, and as expected it has less penetration, mainly because the plate was not pre heated, whereas the 8016 run was done last when the plate was hot, maybe I shall try again but let the plate cool down between passes :-D

Very nice. Can you weld three different coupons with the same settings and compare them? This way you won't have to wait for your substrate to cool down.

On hindsight, that is what I should have done ;)
If I get a spare few minutes I'll have another go today :D
