Hi all, I just got my hands on an old P&H 300 TIG/stick machine. Big yellow! Can anyone explain the "phase" and "intensity" controls to me? I am relatively new to TIG. The machine has high frequency. Is HF used in conjunction with DC welding or just AC? Does the phase control affect penetration?
