General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.
Being new to welding and to this forum I am constantly looking up the explanation of various terms, etc. that are used in members post on this forum. I keep seeing the abbreviations of 3g, 5g and other similar ones...can someone please give me an explanation of these.....? May be a dumb question, but had to ask.....Thanks Rickzzz

I simly meant the general information about welding certification on the front page was applicable to the welding certification subforum, so I posted a link there. What I found funny, was three of us finding it worth posting in three places for three reasons.
