Next week, everything should be fine.

This is quite a storm, but it's not a disaster. I'll know more about flooding in that area later today, but it shouldn't be major.

I'm supposed to pick up some equipment from The Stennis Space Center right by the coast in Missisippi a week from today. Do you think it would be a good idea to delay that trip til later?

Thanks!,
Other Steve
There's limited wind damage around Stennis, and they're fairly well protected from flooding. It should all be passable before the weekend is out.

I fared well here, too. Almost no damage, about 6" water in the yard, and the rain finally stopped.

Oh, yeah, the Goodbee Quickstop was open this morning, so I'm no longer out of beer. ;)

It's important to have priorities! Beer can make any situation more bearable.

My trip got pushed back a week anyway,as we are starting to get busier. Auto Show season is starting earlier this year :)

I gotta know...

What are you picking up from Stennis?

With what you do, it's got to be interesting.

A paint colorant dispenser, one of those things you see in every store that mixes custom paint colors. We have to match a lot of different corporate logo colors, etc., so with this thing, all we need to do is get the correct mix ratios for whatever we need and we can duplicate it whenever we need to.

It was a pretty good deal too. I think they usually run in the several thousands of dollars for one. I got this one for $25 from government surplus.

Not nearly as interesting as I'd hoped, but, yes, a very good deal for that.

I guess that is pretty boring..........maybe I should have said I'm picking up a "Graduated Multi Chromatic Liquid Medium Dispensing Unit"
That does sound better. Much more NASAish! :geek:

I'm from Dundee in Scotland. It's about 60 miles North East from the capital, Edinburgh and the same south west from the oil capital of the UK, Aberdeen.

New, (old dog), kid in the block here from Colorado about 100 miles South of Denver.
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.

All good mate. Sometimes the littlest things are of the most value. Things you learned in your course may save someone else hours of trouble.

Tampa, FL. I will be from two places soon. Southern NJ., and likely Tampa when it gets too cold up there. I may come back to do some boat projects in between. Does this make me a welding Gypsy?
