General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.
So I had to replace my TIG torch cable and all I could get was a 25 ft cable. Then I decided why not make myself a 25 ft ground makes sense right? Now I am still limited to 12 ft by my amp control pedal. I know there are torch end amp controls out there. Can they be attached to the #17 torch and run back to the welder 25 ft? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Types of amp torch end controls you would recommend, or avoid?
I have three different amptrols for my TIG. Rotary, slider, and TIG Button. That is the order that I like them, least to best.
For rotary or slider amptrols, talk to HTP to see if they can make one for your TIG. For a TIG button, check out www.tigcontrol.com
