I get this little pop-up ad thing in the lower right hand corner of my screen only when I go to this site. I'm running Windows 8, but I cannot seem to block it. Is this a feature that Jody is running on his website? I wish I could STOP this from occurring because I really HATE it and it's affecting my weld-zen.

Pop-ups are a function of your browser, not the operating system.
Check the "tools" section of whatever browser you are using and activate the pop-up blocker.
Since this site does not produce pop-ups and you are getting them it may be time to do a malware sweep with Malwarebytes and/or SpyBot Search & Destroy. Both are free downloads.
Another thing to do is empty your history, cookies, and anything else stored by your browser.
