Re: Extension Support for Horizontal Band Saw
Might have missed part of this BUT - I'd bet there is always more than one way. Jack your saw up and put blocks (or what ever) under it use your rollers for support. I love my saw at a raised height. I believe once you see how much more comfortable and productive you become you will find some way to...

Re: New to welding - Need advice on welding different thickn
:D If you have not already bought yourself a welder... Do your friend a favor --- take it to a pro. Even if you have bought yourself a welder... Do your friend a favor and take it to a pro. I have been teaching myself to weld for over a year and I would never use something from a friend to learn on....

Re: Moved out of va beach
I haven't been thru Rich Square in over ten years. Back when I was working I sometimes went thru often. When heading home going north on 258 I always got a charge at the building between 258 and 1112. It was a multistory brick that started out narrow and got as wide as possible as 1112 angled away f...

Re: My 1st little project, Bicycle frame rust repair
I am a beginner in need of much practice. If that was my bike, I would put the sawsall to it ... then weld it all back together. Then I would saw it back up and weld something else from it ... maybe a laid back tricycle or maybe a stand for hanging flowers. Could be good practice for welding, grindi...

Re: Stroller project.
Is your business partner boss and you having any relief from getting the new business up and running? I've never done that full time and didn't much care for the little I did. When working for yourself nothing you do or don't do gets by upper management. And if there is not a bunch of hired help not...

Hey Bill
I hope your new business boss isn't keeping you so busy that you don't get to work on the strollers any more.

I believe I liked the yellow better, but the white does match the wheels. Have you made any more progress?

Re: Stroller project.
When looking at your photos from Saturday 03/12 I figured the body must be fiberglass. Then I just saw the ones from 03/13 and that idea went out the window. Wish I could weld when I built a jeep out of wood for my boys. I wish I could weld now. Anyway I pulled it like a wagon. No horn but had light...

Re: Suggest new Forum Software Update
I'm so new here that I hope you leave it as it is at least long enough for me to learn my way around. I'm with another forum on a different subject that just changed their software... not only did a lot of data not make the change the whole 'feel' of the site was lost. You can't make changes and hav...

Thanks. I almost remember being 43, but that was nearly 30 years ago. I often feel like I've forgotten more than I knew.

Hello from Western Tidewater Virginia
I'm new here, new to welding with a new welder. I'll be outside with 110v when it stops raining. Hope I'm not too old to figure out what questions need to be asked.
