EZ Weld Tig wire for cast iron repairs
Has anyone tried this filler out? It really looks to good to be true, no preheat required on the cast iron, plus the companies web page shows copper, cast iron and steel all tig'd together with their filler rod.

PowerTIG 210EXT Foot Pedal acting up
There seems to be a certain spot where the pedal doesn't respond. I'm not going to mess with it, I'm going to get a new one, what do you think is the best foot pedal to replace it with. I just saw Jodys video on the 4 tig welders he was reviewing and the 210EXT was one of them, and he didn't seem to...

Re: Anyone use or is using 3-SMW tig Rod?

Anyone use or is using 3-SMW tig Rod?
I'm just beginning my adventures in tig welding and was told by an ole timer to use 3-SMW filler rod (1/16 or 3/32) when I'm unsure of the properties. Just wondering what the welders out there think of this filler rod, it was the first time I had heard about this particular filler. Thanks in advance...

Question on using portable gen on PowerTig210
I have a new (Dec2015) PowerTig 210 and was wondering if anyone has used the everlast inverters on a portable generator. My generator meets the continuos 7kw requirement when running 240 volt, but I can't find anything on the cleanliness of the voltage. The Everlast page says their new inverter weld...
