Thanks for the link. That's what I need to know. I tried to join that forum too, but even though it seemed to register me, I can't get logged on. I may reply to that thread, if I ever get setup. The answers about running it on the Honda gen were mostly wrong. At a 110v draw, it would produce 20amps ...

After doing some more calling and research on the 'net, it looks like all I'd need to start Tig is CK torch CK17V-25-2 FX (or the superflex version). One line to the Argon bottle and the other clamped with my arc stinger to the negative post. Let me know if anyone disagrees that that would be enough...

Minimal Tig setup for a Lincoln 210 MP

Newbie here. I just want to get the minimum I need to try out Tig welding on my 210 MP. If I get the Lincoln K1782-6, is that all I need? I know I won't be able to control the amps remotely doing that, but I'm okay with that to test the waters. I know I'd have to do the lift/scratch start to make it...
