Yes they are very common out here in the sticks ,my local supply store carries Lincoln and Hobart electrodes but most of the local welders use Inweld ,they are a great rod and are a lot cheaper than the well known bran...

I purchased some Inweld brand 1/8 inch 7018 AC electrodes from my local welding supply store and was very impressed with them in my opinion they are better than Hobart and Lincoln rods ,has anyone else ran these rods if so what do you think about them?

Mike, I have a habit of overdoing things, it makes me feel better to overdo something than to just get by .

I did a little bit of trailer repair a few days ago,used 1/8 inch 7018s at 120 amps AC.

that's quite a haul! you can google "lincoln electric manual download" to get the manual specific to that machine. those machines will last forever if maintained, so you might look at that part of the manual. 14 circular saws... what's the longer story!? :-) Well Artie the story goes like...
