How many PPS on mild steel ?
Hi Folks-
I'd like to have your thoughts on PPS, Peak and Background settings when welding 1/8" mils steel lap joints. One limitation on my machine is the PPS range of 1-15 PPS. Thanks, Gary.

Thank you for the reply dirtmidget33. The surface was powder coated, but now has been sandblasted. Does that qualify as clean enough for TIG or, because of all the uncontrolled variables, is MIG the best choice?
