Re: CNC Plasma Table recommendations

I have the plasma cams big brother the Samson table. It's 5x10 not 4x4. Plasma cams software is easy to understand for dopes like me that don't have much if any CAD experience. If you get a table buying the highest quality plasma cutter you can afford is best. I'd watch ebay for a while. Deals come...

Re: CNC Plasma Table recommendations

Are you thinking to DIY it, buy components, and build it yourself? I've been watching some threads on other welding forums documenting the process. No. Im thinking about buying something small like a 4x4 table to get used to working with it. I have a decent size shop at home and want to put it in t...

Re: New student

What are you welding that you need, want pulse? I have been running the AHP 200X recently. I am really impressed for $800. It doesn't have pre flow adjustment, pulse is only slow speed. But other than that, none machine. Did you look at HTP? I need the pulse for thin aluminum and stainless. After s...

Re: New student

Welcome, C9CrewChief! I've heard/read a lot of members on the Everlast forum speak well of the 200DX, which has all the features you're looking for. It also comes in a dual voltage version. The 200DX is analog; the 210EXT is digital and dual voltage too. I've only used the 210EXT and I've been happ...

Hi All. I am in my second quarter of welding school and we just started tig welding and I LOVE IT! I really want my own machine for home and have done some research and have narrowed it down to Everlast or Thermal Arc (nice price) but I would appreciate any and all advice on equipment. My budget is ...
