Re: Everlast 160STH 3 prong to 4 prong dryer plug

I hope you're not welding in the laundry room. :?: No. Our laundry room is connected to the garage. With two doors. One to the house one to the garage. So I can run an extension cord to that room and use the welder in the garage with the one to the garage mostly closed and the other door closed to ...

Everlast 160STH 3 prong to 4 prong dryer plug

I just got a everlast 160sth and wanted to be able to use the 220v dryer plug from time to time. The welder is a 3 prong and the dryer is a 4 prong dual voltage nema 14-30R. TIG tube welding

Just wondering if you've done any tube welding 1" sch160 inconel or any other nickel based alloys. I've done a bit of nickel based stuff working on gas turbines, but no tube welding. I want to eventually end up in aerospace welding so maybe you can give some tips on that.

Re: Pipeline Welding Discussion

Depends on where you're at. We have tons of pipe welder/fitter work down here in Houston. Its not on the pipeline but its been pretty steady lately. Oil and Gas will have a use for you when you can't stand working the line anymore.
