With a pyrex cup the stick out should be 5-6 times the diameter of the tungsten. Also the Oring will melt at 500* as well. And when using it on AC don't use more than 30% EN or it puts too much heat into the tungsten which heats up the glass Thank you for your time and your input, I appreciate the ...

Tig welding anodized aluminum

Before I get my equipment out, I want to find out if I can weld anodized aluminum. Might sound pretty basic, but I don't know and I know someone out there does. Will someone tell me? :roll:

Mike, I'm not sure what you want to know but I'll let you know what I know. They're a type of gas lens in the general sense, they are large enough to offer good coverage on most metals with some oversized ones for specialty alloys. They can't take as much heat as alumina and probably the same amoun...
