Thanks for the reply but in a video that Jody posted a while ago he had a special disk he ran across that was sort of a scotchbrite pad on steroids designed to remove the scale from hot rolled plate without scratching up the plate itself. He said it worked great but when I checked it was near $30 a ...

Hi, Last year or the year before in one of the video's, Jody used a special wheel that was design specifically to remove the scale on hot rolled plate without leaving groves in the steel. It wasn't a flap wheel it was closer to a 3m deburring wheel in design. He was using it on a side head grinder. ...
