You can use for example the walking the cup technique.

Re: MultiPlaz

Multiplaz, on the whole as the technology is fit for temporary repairs and non-critical joints.
By the way, I tested it about 10 years ago. ;)

Re: Fronius welders

I'm looking to buy a used Fronius Transpulse Synergic 4000 and I would like to get any info I can about these welders! So if anyone has any input, please share!!! Re: Got my welder...switch to air cooled torch?

I am off to buy an air cooled torch, any recommendations? I will not be running much duty cycle, not a production environment. I would like to occasionally weld to the max of the 300DX, Mostly aluminum in my future, I would like fingertip control (at least on / off) since some of my work will not b...

Re: Got my welder...switch to air cooled torch?

I recently got a 200dx off eBay with a Coolmate1 and wp20 torch and have been using it for a few hours just trying to get the hang of the basics and from all I've read people suggest air cooled for lower amps... The thickest I'm welding is 1/4" mild steel right now so I'm not sure if the wp20 ...

Re: Surface burn / overheating TIG Weld

Kn3rf , - How much do you adjust tungsten extension from a nozzle? - How much is the distance between a tungsten tip and a pipe surface? What is the torch angle on a pipe during the welding process? - Can you try to make a bead(without a filler rod) on any other detail(stainless steel plate or pipe...
