Re: Anyone have one of the modular torches?

I use a torch like the Weldcraft but it's also got a button for 4t as well. I don't think the weldcraft have a switch option? They look like good torches I would say they are holding up well.

Re: Welding thin stainless 14 gauge sheet or thinner

Thanks Jody and everyone it's much appreciated! That is very good too know that I'm on the right track it takes the persistence along with the practise and helpful advise goes along way too. I have got the dipping better now and done a reasonably good lap joint today so the advise is working well to...

Re: Stainless sanitary tube

I've found so far that it's quite comfortable going around this pipe if you just rest the cup slightly on the material and extend out the electrode a little bit to compensate as this seems to work quite well with out scratching it, otherwise like you have said going around the pipe freehand is more ...

Re: Sanitary/Food Grade welding tips and general info???

Hi there everyone :)

I'm also looking at this area of welding and are wondering.. is it more common to wiggle the cup while resting it slightly or alternatively weld freehand around the pipe?

How can I pickup the technique easier for uniform looking welds should pulse be used ideally for this?
