Re: Searching for Cargo Trailer plans

Noticed I never said "thank you" to you guys. I never built the trailer but trading up to a OTR rig for the time being. We'll get back to this project soon enough but here's a bump for those looking for the same thing.

My friends call me Savvy. If you're not one of them don't call me. 8-)

Re: Searching for Cargo Trailer plans

I'd go for the 16' with the drop doors first but nice find. I'll poke around the site a bit and see if they have something I can meld into what I'm looking for. Appreciate the link. Here's the other one that looks promising. http://www.trailerplans.com//index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypag...

Searching for Cargo Trailer plans

Everybody wants to make a trailer and so do I. But I'm looking to make an enclosed cargo trailer to take my Harley on a mountain vacation. Since I'm talking to a forum of welders I thought I'd reach out to everyone and ask if they know where to get a good set of plans for one. In a perfect world I'm...

Re: amperage selection with differing walls

I'm no expert here but I do listen pretty well. You said you're blowing through the thin or burning off the thick edge. Both lead to the assumption that you're either too hot or dragging your feet running the bead. Either way your description sounds like too much heat build up. I know the Diversion ...

Re: Cheap Jumbo Pyrex Kit

Threads like this are going to cost me a fortune.

Ahh heck with it, ordered a big pyrex setup for my WP17F in 3/32. Not like it wasn't getting ordered this year or something.

Re: TIG welder cable?

Did you want a remote switch on the torch? If so then it sounds like you have what you wanted but the setup is different (still compatible though). One would be a plug that would replace your pedal, one for the gas and one for the power. Even a water-cooled torch with remote trigger should have 4 to...

Re: little help with a hobart 250 ac/dc

You said you downloaded the manual for it so you'll have pictures in it of your machine. You can also do as Mike suggested and view images of your machine online but searching for it in Google and selecting the "Images" tab above the results. Simply print out the image and hang it next to ...
