Re: Miller Dynasty 280 DX Software Update

I have the model without the cooler power. It's not really an earlier model as both are available.

I have done several upgrades and am now using the card that has the variable amplitude function. All have worked well for me. I have used a windows computer to manage the card prep for the updates.

Re: Using a 50 Amp welder on a 40 Amp breaker?

Will this cause any problems? I know that if I used it in a much higher range that it could over heat the circuit. I don't turn it up over 50% of its capacity and I haven't had any problems with the welds, I suppose the breakers would pop if I was over loading the circuit right? The feed from the h...

Re: Head Rest for Wet Plate Photography

I asked him if he wanted ball bearings or pikes.

You can see what he requested. (I thought it would be much more interesting the other way.)

Head Rest for Wet Plate Photography

I am a photographer by trade but have also been employed as a welder over the years on short term projects. I like to work in Metal as well as other mediums. I have a friend who shoots Wet Plate photographs and I volunteered to make him a head rest/stabilizer for his long exposures. http://www.rober...
