Re: Spray transfer settings
I have talked to a few gas suppliers in the past 90/10 they say is the breaking point for spray any lower and its really hard to transfer that being said they did say that 90/10 should transfer nice but the higher you go the easier it is to transfer such as 95/5 or a 98/2. How long have you had the ...

Kinda what I am seeing with the press brakes mainly, I like how the tooling holders can be moved around to make taller pans with out having to use the c frame sides or really really long tooling.
Also like the fact bystronic and amada both have angel detection systmes.

Re: Stainless Steel Plasma Cutting
Sorry for joining the party late, and I am sure that you have already done this job.... but it is not recomened to cut underwater with HD plasma if edge quality is what you are worried about.... it can do it because it uses HF starting but cutting underwater is not something that is practiced by man...

Re: Plasma or Laser?
Water jet will not have corrosion issues because its cut with abrasives and water instead of a gas mix. But because of speed will be a fair amount more expensive.

Re: plasma CNC needed etc?
As far as finding some one I can not really help you there. But as far as machines and how they operate I should be able to help you. As far as the machine.... thickness dose not really matter if its .100 or .125 unless you want them to supply materiel some places stock different things but as far a...

Re: Plasma or Laser?
Really depends on thickness.... anything 1/2" and under a laser will be the best cut..... but HD plasma should be good as long as they are running the machine right!!! if they add oxygen it will actually oxidize the stainless and can rust this can also be said about laser if they are on an unde...
