Re: new machine ordered. giddy!
It's the new single pH 230v version they are rolling out this week.. Just happen to call the factory or I would have bought a 3ph unit that was listed as single phase on Amazon. I knew I wanted digital from using the dynasty so much... It comes with 3 cheap tourches... But for what it is for what it...

Re: new machine ordered. giddy!
Hope I don't get too much criticism for this, not trying to hyjack... I just ordered the Everlast 325ext....my dynasty 200 was taken away by a ex-business partner. I'm excited because of welding so much 1/4 aluminum with the d200 was a pain. Never would heat it all the way on bigger pieces without a...

Re: Chop saws what do y'all recommend for a hobbiest
That saw takes 7.25 circular saw blades that are cheap.... 10$ cheap. And the saw has a no hassle 3 year return warranty. I'm on my second one. As aluminum has a tendency to break the fences on chop saws when it kicks!

It's from tapatalk, it's confusing , I apologize , but they change stuff all the time on this app. I was trying to post to Otto nobedder, about the -423 liquid nitrogen vessel he was fixing. (Post #50) It was a old post, but some how my setting got changed and it went to the oldest post instead of t...

@nickn372 I did the same thing on my kitchen exhaust, several fans in series work very well! It's all about keeping the air speed up! I used 3 fans. I had 2 and got one more , liked it so we'll I kept it that way.

Is the vessel subject to shrinkage with the extreme temperature differences ....seems to me that much temperature difference from the ambient temperature, even a small leak could cause a hot spot, and build on itself till it ruptured?
Just thinking.

Re: 3/32" Vs. 1/8" Tungsten???
I never hear anyone talk about Ceriated tungsten ? Is there a downside? It's what came with my dynasty 200 runner and it rocks on aluminum! Don't split like thoriated when the amps get to high. Use it on steel or whatever. I tend to run on the hotter side, do a lot of 1/4 aluminum

We'll I screwed up!
I forgot to turn on the cooler on my dynasty 200... While running a couple welds on some thicker aluminum 3/8, Apparently it makes a lot of smoke/steam when the water cooled line overheats, and ruptures! Don't know why they don't make it plug into the back of the TIG so it comes on at the same time!...

Re: Tig copper
I'm sure you have already done this, but are you using a ton of amps at startup? I welded a bunch of ground clamps together, (like 30 )that were 3/16 . On full power for my dynasty 200, the whole time! I was using 30% helium. Once it would puddle! it ran like butter!

My question is can you overheat a aluminum weld? Some tig welds look like they barely melt it in.... Mine are hotter... Ive always welded on the hot side? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/18/ezumevur.jpg How does this effect the strength? And what if you Re-Heat them? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 us...
