Brush Replacement
Narrowed my problem down to the DC brushes what am I looking at to do it myself ? And how many brushes are on the DC side? The manual didn't specify how many just a part number.

Ive had it for 2 months now i picked it up off of craigslist for 200$ The guy couldnt tell me if it even ran a nice cleaning fresh plugs and an oil change she started up.Switch is on and functions cuts voltage on and off. I was getting 83v to my multimeter off my stubs

From what I understand if the unit sat for a while you have to flash the exciter but like I said before I'm good with small engine aspect but lack the electrical aspect

Yes I have access to tools and a multimeter here's another thing as well I have to manually adjust the idle to use my tools I pulled the boards off and blew them out with canned air they look good no burns of damage . I'm terrible with the electric aspect of it

Well i pulled it apart and cleaned out still nothing still reading I'm pretty sure the weld control board is bad and its Lincoln Part # G3660 is 843$ . On a good note I can plug my buzz box in and works very well

Alright I check that tomorrow now if the brushes are bad what am I looking at for replacement price wise?

No arc but leads are charged?
Alright maybe just maybe this could be something minor I have a Lincoln Ranger 305G. I have power at my leads but cant strike and arc what could be my issue?

Well the carb was 309 straight from kohler I found one on eBay brand new for 150 and a new exhaust was 150 give or take 300 with all the nickel and diming with stainless bolts for the cover oil change ect. It's about to get a fresh paint job because she's rough looking

Well I got everything situated I payed 200 bucks for the ranger and honestly an oil change some cleaning up it purs like a kitten and everything is functional.

Thanks I have the manual printed out out the new carb on it and Lincoln doesnt seem to have anything on the motor or the linkage

Help
I have a Lincoln Range 305 G with a kohler 22 HP I purchased without a carb. Would anyone have one and be able to snap a picture of how the linkage is connected to it? Thanks a bunch.

The 6013 worked great ran it at 75amps I can't complain I got the buzz box for free

I have a Lincoln 225ac I was thinking 6013 rods it looks like 28 gauge could be thicker my buddy sent a picture it could be heavier it's for a Polaris ATV

What process?
What would you guys suggest welding a thin gauge ATV bumper with I've been enrolled in a welding program for 8 month now they just cover the basics and not much fabrication/repair. Is it possible to do with a buzz box or is it too much?
