Acetetyne rose bud problem
I bought a $150 Acetetyne torch set off Amazon. I know it is a cheap one, but its just for my home shop. It works well till I try the rose bud. After adjusting it & then start heating it pops & goes out. I noticed it also gets hot. I had it set 7 psi gas & 15 psi Oxg. It must be my setti...

You guys are the best. I have a old Miller mig welder I could use instead if you guys think it would work. This one is a 120 millermatic 220 volt. It would be a transformer type also being I bought it new in the 1980,s. Being it does not pull the amps the other does would it be safe to use it. If no...

Genorator Power question
After another power outage I finally broke down a bought a generator. I bought a HF Predator 8750 watt

Re: Plasma cut /gouge and cast iron
If your talking about repairing a crack I have done that many times. I drill a small hole
at the ends of the crack. I vee the crack some by grinding. I then preheat the casting
& then braze it. It has always worked for me.

Re: PITA Cast Iron Repair
I have done many cast iron cracked jobs. I always drill a hole at each end of crack to prevent the crack
from going any farther. I almost always braze them. For cracks in cylinder heads I plug weld them. Never
had a come back in 45 years.

Cold Saw blades
I have a evulsion cold saw. I love it but my blade has finally dulled. I cut more aluminum than steel, but this blade has been a good performer. It is the one that came on the saw. It is a all purpose blade the rage. Is there a better one you can recommend? Fly :D

NO MORE Lincoln Viking helmets for me
I bought a Lincoln Viking helmet a couple of years back. Jody said he really liked them. There not cheap. My complaints are this. They eat batteries like a mouse eats cheese. The screen is great if you can get it back into the helmet with out breaking the cheap slide plastic latches. I have NEVER ha...
