Try cableman on ebay. The last time I looked he had good prices on usa products and could personalize cable in multiple colors.

I have had good luck with 4IP. It is a stick rod from Lincoln. primarily for metal to metal but does very well on metal to earth in my experience. It burns like 7018. 2 pass buildup if I remember correctly. I used it on a scrap metal shear and out done Study by a long ways. I ran it over 11018 build...

Old post but I doubt there is anything produced today as dependable than an old Continental driven 200. Short of the cast iron carbs amd the occasional magneto issues they are unstopable. I have an eary 50's with untold hours of use and abuse that will fire up now in the cold and weld till I am done...

I run a Lincoln Vantage 300 on a dedicated truck and am reasonably satisfied. It may be a little overkill for what you are looking at but larger is better than too small. It is remote capable, spool gun capable, scratch start tig capable. The generator end runs 110 v and 220 v as well as 220 v three...
