Been a looker for a while, now decided to get into the mix, been welding all my working life on and off, retired siesmic survey tech, enjoy reading other peoples opinions and views, and hopefull picking up some new tips.

Here In the Uk I was taught Al first, the reason, once you master Al then MS / SS is easy after that, my reasoning is if you learn steel first then move on to Al you end up thinking,.... WTH has happened to my welding, only my 2p's worth.

I personally use 7-8 LPM which would give you 15-17 CFH which for me is a good all round figure,gas lens setup works well, saves gas too....
