I say yes I agree. The discription is perfect.I would say the picture is rather misjudging me the weld was very good.I boil every detail out carefully it took considerable time.It is always better to win than to lose.

Re: Tungsten grinding
This is about well known subject , but I would like to make a little note . I have a bench grinder hat works fine , but it is nice if you grind the direction of the arc travel . So i turned opposite the direction of rotation of grinder and things are a lot better . Grinder turns opposite the usual g...

Re: Unweldable cast? Bad settings? Wrong process?
I had a similar case and i had the same problem there was no way to make it decent . So i switched to oxygen flame with traditional bronze and flux .With adequate heat the result was a lot better. It was more soothe and fluid with better adhesion to basic metal seems that in aged metal no matter the...

Re: advice in need
The whole procedure took many hours and it was given all possible ideas for
solid welding with a lots of rework . I did not do a lot of grooving since i grind it
to fit.It was only 4 millimeter thick and i did both sides .Now i keep fingers crossed
as you use to say or pray to work.

Re: advice in need
It was hard work I did anything I knew to make it work decently , I took some pictures
of different stages . The rod is 5356 the metal was a little porous so I had to rework
or wash welding so it will be good . Im not proud but it ok
