I have to flush one of my water coolers out too. I was wondering if CLR would work?
Sometimes if the welds are not comming out clean it can be due to a small leak in the gas line or a loose conection. That can pull air into the line in small amounts and make for contamination.

Re: Dynasty vs Syncrowave which to buy?
We do have 22o single phase and 3 phase. You would never find 3 phase in a house though. It is only industrial. House are wired with 110 single phase and there will be 220 for appliances only. I have one sincrowave wired to 3 phase. I dont notice any difference in power. I think it is only more effi...

Re: Dynasty vs Syncrowave which to buy?
I have never used the Dynasty either. I would love to hear more about it. What are the negatives that you know? Price? Capacity? I have two Sycrowaves one is about twenty years old and works as well as the day I got it. But like you said it is hard to move around. I made a cart for it and it has a g...

Re: Certification question. Tig SS and Brass
By worth it I'm wondering what value expect to get out of it? Will you get a raise in pay? Will you be able to find better employment? If not it might not be worth any money but it might give you bragging rights. Maybe find out what certifications in Canada cover the materials, joints and positions ...

Re: Got a burning question
Are you doing it on jewelry? How bout just a jewelers torch and silver solder? Bad color match?
BE careful with those Harbor Freight welders, they suck bad. Especially on the low end. They just dont go to the low amps.
What are you shielding with?

Re: Certification question. Tig SS and Brass
Not sure how it works in Canada but here in the US certification has to be maintained. It can be a bit of a financial expense and require some time. Do you work for yourself? If so you can maintain certification by taking the tests and then filing the paper work proving that you have welded the mate...

Re: Should I get qualified?
Ive done sanitary welding from time to time. It is usually not the welder that has to be certified but the weld itself. I think? When I weld SS sanitary it is for micro breweries. After the welds are done the inspector has to pass them as sanitary. There are different grades of sanitary too, and for...
