Having the wrong collets installed..I had already smoked both ends of the 3/32...The next day my little sharpie diamond wheel showed up....SOOO..I hooked it up to my dremel..and sharpened up everything again..Got a tungsten grinder for $8.00..lol (those 300-400 $ ones are nice,but this works for $8....

Here's what I did...Used wrong collet in HTP body....Live an learn....I think the pyrex needs a longer stick out..I was out an 1/8 or so..Read & saw( from AK's link) they come out 6-8 diameters....A LLLOONG way... Now I'll go stand in the corner...LOL

Jonathan....I'm green,but know reverse polarity is stick..(electrode positive)..Tig is (electrode negative)...I wasn't walking the cup..was close to work..with tungten extended .250-.312 outa the cup (1/8"dia electrode in this case) probably cup was .090-.125 from plate..My first impression was...
