It's not the bright blue MDX-100 that currently comes with the Multimatic 220. That video is about 3 years old, so I think his machine came with some kind of a Bernard gun with a Miller connector. The question is, which one?

Lincoln L-56 MIG Wire -Vs- Hobart Wire
Is one better than the other? So far I've only tried the Hobart. I haven't tried the Lincoln L-56 although a lot of people online say it's really good. https://www.amazon.com/MIG-Welding-Wire-L-56-030-Spool/dp/B007P1ZLME https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/hobart-er-70s-6-carbon-steel-solid-we...

Re: Gas Flow Setting
What you have is probably a flow gauge. It will be calibrated in CFH (flow) not PSI (pressure). It is pretty much the same as a pressure gauge except it has a small orifice to limit the flow and it is calibrated for flow. A flow gauge will show a high flow when there is no flow (trigger off) so you...

Re: Gas Flow Setting
Hi cj737 I know that gas only flows while squeezing the trigger, but I wasn't sure if I should be setting the gauge while squeezing the trigger. I think what is happening here is I'm confusing a flow meter for a pressure gauge. A pressure gauge is what I have. A flowmeter is the little ball that's f...

Waiting for Moderator Approval
Greetings and Salutations. I started a thread last night, but it's still awaiting moderator approval before being seen by the general public. I'm still trying to find an adapter for a welding machine. The Miller machines use a NEMA 6-50P plug, but my only available 240V receptacle is a NEMA 10-30R. ...
