Has anyone run the Everlast 161 sth which seems to be the Maxstar equivalent? The price is considerably cheaper and I won’t be welding all the time with it. Also I keep reading stories of the Maxstar boards going bad so is it worth it to spend that much in it?

New member looking to learn tig and pipe welding
Hey everyone. I’ve been watching Jody’s videos for years now have learned a lot. My father and I own a small plumbing hvac company. I want to learn how to pipe weld. I had a Millermatic 211 but just sold it to get a tig/stick welder.
