Re: Tig welding pure aluminum Refrigeration coils.
Here's a video I did a while back. I was seeing how well it would bridge a larger hole.
That was a used piece of scrap that had oil in it and minimal cleaning.

Re: Tig welding pure aluminum Refrigeration coils.
It's easier to braze it. This is what I use. It flows like butter and can bridge a decent size hole. I like to brush and clean with acetone, but I have done it with less than ideal cleaning. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210129/516f9d0b017dd22b0431696fbeb7ef3d.jpg Sent from my SM-T837V using T...

Re: The Other Welding Site
It's an HVAC site.Oscar wrote:What is HTalk?
Sooooooo, no more WeldingWeb?
Who knows. It sounds like everything might be lost unless they find a backup somewhere. You'd think after the last outage they would have multiple backups.

Re: The Other Welding Site
This was posted on one of their sister sites. They managed to find a copy for that site, but they are still not fully operational. HTalk was sold to Endeavor along with dozens of other forums in the mechanical industry in December. All of these sites were pushed over to the new owners host except th...

Hello
Hello from west Texas. I've been lurking for a little while, finally decided to register.
I'm not really a welder, but I pretend to be one from time to time.
