Cannot get my old cutting torch to cooperate so im gonna buy a new one any recommendations?

Argon tank empty??

So im new to welding ive got a big argon tank thats heavy as hell and figured it was full but when you open the valve nothing comes out. I took it in to be exchanged and the guy tells me its almost full?? Is there anyway the main valve can be junk or is this guy just lying to me?

So i have an old torch and when i turn the lower oxy knob on it already pisses oxy from the tip before i even open the upper knob. What would the problem be? Like others have said, oxy acetylene welding, and setting up the rig takes know how. Acetylene above about 12 psi becomes unstable and above about 15 psi can be explosive. Something not to be played around with by someone that doesn’t know what they are doing! When i say i know nothing what i reall...

So im new to oxy acetylene torches i seem to have a problem maybe with my regulators? Looking for advice. My acetylene tank has gas but when i light it i barely get a tiny flame to come out the tip. I figured i must be out or very low so i went to exchange the tank and they told me it was nearly ful...

Getting started

Im new to welding in general i have an esab multimaster 260 that ive been learning to stick weld with. I wanna start tig welding so i can do aluminum but i dont have a tig torch or know what would work for my machine anybody that could help me?
