Inconel 718 3/8 plate 3G test Video please.
I am taking a 3G inconel 718 3/8 plate beveled I think 30° test and the first time I did it my penetration was perfect and was slightly crowned but now I don't know why I'm getting suck back and or flat penetration. Why? I took my test at 65 amps with a gap of .100 on the bottom and .125 up top. Goo...

Inco 718
I've been welding Aerospace since the '80s and I finally bought me the furick cup and tried it for the first time on inconel 718 and when I set the flowmeter to the recommended 20-30 it just didn't seem like it was enough so I cranked it to 50 and what a huge difference it made my inco look nice and...

Re: Individual wave form on EP and EN How?
Thank you Oscar,
This is true. I weld beer cans together with my 350. I was just curious and always willing to learn more about advanced settings. I do have one more question that maybe you could answer? On the Everlast set on 30%balance what is that on a dynasty?

Re: Individual wave form on EP and EN How?
Thank you for the clarification. That's a bummer the 350 doesn't have that option. I was told the 400 has it. I'd like to know how much of a difference there is by changing the waveform on the polarity sides? Hopefully that will be answered and another video.

Re: Individual wave form on EP and EN How?
Thanks for the quick response. In the video he described using the Miller dynasty 280 with the expansion card. He did not mention any other machine. So you're telling me these machines that you're displaying have that capability?

Individual wave form on EP and EN How?
Hey Jody, You had a video with Mike z about welding the aluminum frames for bikes and he mentioned under the advanced settings to put the electrode negative in a triwave form and put the electrode positive on the advanced waveform and that is not possible to do. So I'd like to know how he was able t...

Re: TIG machine for aerospace welding
Hello Bjames, If you're doing aluminum you cannot go wrong with the dynasty buy Miller. But that mainly depends on the thickness of the materials you're welding especially if you're doing Aerospace welding you want a machine that is going to start at 3 amps and terminates the weld at 3 amps.Although...

Individual wave form on EP and EN How?
I watched the video of The aluminum bike TIG welding and you started talking about the advanced settings and Mike mentioned he can change the waveform individually on the EN and EP. How can I do that on my 350 dynasty? Or does the 350 need an expansion card for that like the 280?

Re: Interpass temperature on stainless
Thank you I read the entire file and there's no mention of interpass temperature and ranges. Although I did find some literature that stated to let it cool till it reaches 150 degrees before you can start your second pass. It's been 8 years since the last time I had to worry about that but on this j...

Interpass temperature on stainless
After welding your first pass welding stainless sockets elbows and flanges I know that there's a temperature range before you can weld your second pass so my question is at what temperature is it safe to weld my second pass?
