the one that was sent was mild steel but I purchased 2 stainless steel ones i figured 1 for practice lol. Im not sure where to start with amperage though, should i split the amps for the thickness of the bung and go laywire with a weave? I got 309l but I'm picking up some 308 from the shop tomorrow....

tig unknown stainless bike exhaust?

hey, got a 06 cbr1000rr that I am putting a o2 sensor bung onto and wanting to know what yall think/would run your setting at? also filler for unknown stainless? Maybe a way to tell what type of stainless the exhaust is made of? I know I need to turn it up for the bung but worried about melting thro...

figured it out, it was turned up to hot and moving too slow, finally fount my rythem with background music and I'm good to go, thank yall for the assistance.

If the steel is getting heat soaked ( possible that your using too low of amps or moving too slow). or if your running too hot it can cause what your seeing.
