I buy most of the abrasives used in the shop from Benchmark Abrasives. Their stuff is inexpensive and holds up fairly well.

You will find it very convenient. The necks of my guns tend to get chewed up over time but not too big of a deal really.

I have pieces of 1.25" pipe tacked all over my tables so I can rest the gun when not in use.

Your helmet setting depends on the amperage of the weld. For most everything we do I leave my helmets on 11 or 12.

Double leaf automatic gates
We installed these the other day. The design was the client's. We used a NiceApollo operator for the automation and set it up with a solar panel.

We use Muriatic Acid to etch & then H2O2 to color. We can get some very cool coloring depending on the ambient humidity, and rain storms.

you will end up having to weld a nut on the end of the pliers, at least on the clamps, when the threads wear. I have done this to all of my clamps. It makes them much easier to use.

my wife has had operations to cut the sheath on 2 fingers in the past 4 years and now it is happening again on a third finger. It sucks getting old.
