Looks like it's going to be a real nice belt grinder! I wanted to build my own, but ended up purchasing a Reeder Products grinder with the platen attachment instead. I bought the motor and VDF controller (KBAC 27) separate and saved some money.
If you haven't used one, you'll really enjoy it!

As soon as I get my table welded up, I'm going to start on a vertical offset smoker to replace my old horizontal smoker.

Stay with it Bruce, you'll be laying some nice beads before too long. It's been years since I've stick welded, where I worked (before retiring) they got a Millermatic and it really spoiled me. So I'll be getting back into stick as soon as I get an outlet ran for my Lincoln Idealarc. Looking forward ...
