it pays to post what machine you have. so we can see what specs the machine has. also what wire are you using? a lot of those cheap ones have fixed wires so you can't get polarity mixed. it’s a flux core one 125 amps and I don’t know much about welders so I got one that was cheap to start off with ...

So I just got a flux core welder, for basic stuff and to learn to weld and when I try to weld all it does it spatter all over the place and doesn’t actually create a weld can someone help me figure out what to do and all it has is a min max and wire speed up to ten and thickest steel to weld is 3/16...
