Stainless Mesh

How about a video tig welding some stainless mesh onto a stainless frame? Anything from 20 mesh to 400 micron mesh would be great.

Noob beads for comment and advice

These practice pieces are the first thing I've ever TIG'd outside of practice beads. It's 16 gauge sheet metal with 1" pieces of black iron pipe cleaned up. Gas flow was experimented with between 15-20 cfh. 55 amps. 1/16 cerriated tungsten. 1/16 308 rod because my weld supply didn't have 70s2 o...

304/304L?

Noob here. So I bought a stick of 304 stainless pipe to practice on, but printed on the pipe is 304/304L. Which is it? Does it even matter? TIG welding.

Re: Squarewave 200

I just bought this machine, first TIG I'll ever try. Can't wait. Lincoln's $125 holiday rebate sealed the deal. I was looking at the Diversion 180, but even with the $700 rebate it was more expensive than the Lincoln. Plus it has hardwired leads, which didn't appeal to me.

Aluminum Stock Pot Pinhole

I'm a TIG noob and I just bought my first TIG machine. Lincoln squarewave 200.

I've got an aluminum stock pot with a pinhole in the bottom. So small you can't see it, but it weeps water. Can TIG this without a filler rod and not destroy the pot?
