tig gloves + cleanliness

Hi all, I'm pretty new to TIG, been Migging for quite a while now. I've learned from Jody just how important cleanliness of everything is. But I don't think he's ever talked about tig gloves and how they fit into that equation. Am I the only one who can't keep his gloves clean? It doesn't take long ...

Re: What is safe to store on a welding table?

Not sure if this is relevant to the OP's concern but, on another forum I'm on a guy posted a photo of his welding setup for attaching brackets to his race cars rear axle. He had placed the ground on the pinion shaft and was mig welding on the axle tube. Now that's a big no no as the ground path was ...

There's also an aero space machine shop close by. Here's a few pics of the things I found a few months ago. The steel pla...

Ceramic repair

Hi guys and gals,
First post here. I'm a slowly learning welder who really enjoys and learns so much from Jody. I'm also a big fan of Bad Obsession Motorsport on You Tube. They recently posted this video, thought it was really cool!
Hello and enjoy,
Alan

Re: Howdy from Port Hadlock

The Ajax is due to reopen this summer. They got shut down due to issues with their septic system. Their neighbors The School of Wooden Boatbuilding have started a joint venture for a new septic on boat school property. We live a ten minute walk from there.
