I've only ever stick welded with a Miller Bobcat. If I bought something like a Everlast 300ST, would I notice a big difference in starting and arch characteristics?

I've been welding for about 4 years. I own a remodeling and commercial maintenance company but I do welding for my own personal projects.

When I first started learning, 1 of 20 welds was "good". Now I'm 1 out of 2 so things are improving.
