I sent a email to Matco support to see if I can fine a manual and specifications for this welder also asked if repair parts are still available. If no parts are available, it will be considered disposable if it breaks.

Someone else snapped this up before I could get to it. I think a 250 amp mig on hand would be nice to have. I keep looking and now Matco 260D is up for sale close to me. It comes with the optional spool gun included. Seller wants $800 for it.

kinda curious about this. If you have a older mig welder that has a stitch function with user definable on/off time, isn't that the same as having a newer welder with a pulse function? If not, what's the difference?

The last thing I had to weld was 3/4 inch steel. The little Lincoln 125 wasn't going to do it. Break out the 250 amp stick welder.
Even with that, it took like 10 passes to fill the groove. That SP250 would have come in handy. Looking at the manual, it has a 100% duty cycle at 150 amps

What results should one experience if they attempt to mig weld with straight argon?

I shortened a 33,000 gvw cab/chassis with air ride suspension. I had to drill about 60-70 holes in frame stock to do it. I never would have been able to get accurate holes without the use of a mag drill. Also way easier then fighting it with a hand drill
