Any Info on NEW CWB CWI level 2

Hi, Does anyone have any tips or information on the new CWB CWI Level 2? I will be writing it in the summer of 2020 and would appreciate any help or information anyone might have. I know I will be retested on level 1 but there is no code endorsement now. Other than that, I don't know much about it. ...

Hi from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

In Toronto FCAW-S is only less than 20% of our work, but it is slowly growing. I am a certified CWB Welder and...

Re: CWB Level 1 Practical Exam

The CWB changes their samples and retires their old ones. They have many samples to choose from to 3d print. They also have some samples with no discontinuities. Be careful

Re: CWB Level 1 Practical Exam

You must pick one and only ONE discontinuity. Pick the easiest one and if you can, pick one you don't have to measure. The test welds are plastic 3d printed models, which suck. Make sure you read the right side of the model. There are discontinuities that you don't have to measure and you record it ...

Re: CWB Level 1 Practical Exam

I passed CWB CWI level one and it's no joke. Read the instructions is the first part and follow it to a "T"! That's your first test as an inspector. No over thinking it, that will be your downfall. You must follow it exactly and ONLY CIRCLE ONE discontinuity (pick the easiest one and not a...
