AC/DC TIG Welder that runs on 480 3 Phase power
Hi Guys, I'm looking to purchase an AC/DC TIG machine, which I will initially be using just for practice. I will be setting it up at the shop where I work, and the only options for power are 480v 3 phase, or regular 110v outlets. I want to use it to practice aluminum, so the 110v probably wont work ...

Has anyone worked for a Tank construction company, either in the field or shop?
What's the work/welding like? Do all those plates get full pen welds?
I always see Tanco Engineering hiring on Indeed for field and shop, and Ive been curious about the work.

Thanks for the reply. I would love to go into the welding supply shop, but their hours and my working hours line up, so I was hoping to order something online to avoid taking off work. I've looked at several online weld shot sites, and haven't seen anything that looks like it would fit. seems strang...
