Nice cart. I'm in the process of building one but mine won't be that elaborate. Not sure if I'll post any pictures of it because my welds suck for now. Still practicing..... haha

6011 sticking/getting rods wet to run
So here's a new one. I was on another welding forum and saw a post about 6011 rods sticking, which I'm having the same problem. One of the reply's I read stated that if 6011 rods are too dry to dunk them in some water. Anybody ever heard of this? I never have. Also, if anyone has any ideas as to why...

No, I don't have a manual for it but, you may be right, it very well may need a good cleaning. I'll have to do that. Thanks, that was something I didn't think of.

I've recently gotten back into welding after being away form it for about 25 years. I was given a old Eutectic AC welder. And I've run into a problem when trying to weld vertical. The welder doesn't like to run at low amps, below 110, to do vertical welds. It keeps sticking the rods. I'm using 1/8 i...

Lincoln Excalibur on AC
Has anyone had any luck welding Lincoln Excalibur on AC? I know the can states that they can weld AC or DC but, I can't get them to run on AC at all. They keep sticking.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
