Many thanks for everyone's input. I ended up getting a ten-pack of 5" 40g tigerpaw discs for $23. They worked great on a wrought iron job I did last week adding 50 intermediate pickets to a railing to make it kid safe. One disc removed all the paint for welding and still has a lot of life left....
